Privacy Policy

Voyamap is a private travel journal, built so your trips stay yours. Your data lives only on your devices and in your own private iCloud. We — the developer — never receive, see, or store it. There are no accounts and no advertising or analytics SDKs.

What Voyamap stores, and where

Trips, stops, places, photo references, and workout and route information are stored locally on your device and synced through your personal private iCloud (CloudKit) account, which only you can access. This information is never sent to the developer or to any third-party server.

Device permissions

• Location (including background): used on your device to detect the places you stop during a trip. Location data is not collected by us and does not leave your device or iCloud.
• Photo Library: used to attach photos you took to the matching stop. Photos are read on-device; we do not upload them.
• Apple Health (workouts & routes): used to add walks, runs, and rides to your trips. Health data is read on-device and is not collected by us.

Third-party services

• Apple iCloud & MapKit: Voyamap uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across your own devices, and Apple Maps to display maps. Your use of these is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
• Unsplash (optional): when you choose a trip cover photo, the app searches Unsplash. Your search text and network request reach Unsplash; no personal trip data is sent. This is governed by Unsplash's privacy policy, and cover search is entirely optional.

Data collection & tracking

Voyamap collects no personal data and performs no tracking. There are no third-party analytics or advertising frameworks of any kind.

Children

Voyamap is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
